MeMoSA® was showcased at the ASEAN AI Malaysia Summit 2025, held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) from 12-13 August 2025, highlighting Malaysia’s growing ecosystem of Al-driven healthcare innovations.

During the summit, MeMoSA® was presented as an Al-enabled mobile health platform for the early detection of oral cancer, using smartphone-based image capture and remote clinical review by trained dental professionals. The platform demonstrates how digital technologies can expand access to screening, particularly in underserved communities.

To date, MeMoSA® has supported oral cancer screening efforts that have reached over 1,000 villagers across 12 villages in Sarawak, and has trained more than 40 MeMOSA users, including Ministry of Health dental professionals, specialists, and community healthcare volunteers.
The platform was also shared with key stakeholders including Deputy Director-General of Health (Research and Technical Support), Ministry of Health Malaysia, Datuk Dr Nor Fariza, and former Minister of Health Malaysia, Khairy Jamaluddin, highlighting the role of Malaysian innovations in strengthening public health.
